Office Administrative Clerk (Part Time)


Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff with data compilation for clients
  • Communications with clients
  • Assist with office administrative tasks
  • Maintain physical and computer files

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communications skills

Hours:
  • Part time hours
  • Flexible on days of week and hours of the day
  • Extra hours expected during personal tax season

Remuneration:
  • Hourly wage determined based on skill level
  • Pay in Lieu of Pension Program
  • Benefit plan available

Client Accounting Assistant


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain computerized accounting records for clients (SAGE 50 & Quickbooks and other accounting software).
      • Regular accounting entries
      • Bank reconciliations
      • Other GL Account reconciliations
      • Payroll processing and related reporting
      • Periodic and annual working paper preparation
      • HST, WSIB, and other regular reporting
  • Regular interactions with clients
  • Intermediate involvement with personal income tax return
  • Office client and related file maintenance
  • Communication with CRA and other regulatory agencies on behalf of clients

 

Skills:

  • Good familiarity with SAGE 50 and Quickbooks
  • Strong bookkeeping knowledge
  • Strong account reconciliation ability
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with computerized T1 software
  • Strong organization skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self starter and ability to work with minimal supervision.


Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 9-5 (summer hours when applicable)
  • Extra hours during months of March and April (tax season)

  • Hourly pay determined on level of skill
